I bought these for Christmas decoration. I like how easy it is to use the remote control. I turned them off and on manually using the remote control. However, some appeared at different times after being knocked out. I had to fiddle with at least 3 out of 12 every day as some would not turn on and others would flicker. In general I like them. They're just a little spotty in performance.

Mine didn't come with a timer or manual switch which means I have to rely on the remote to turn the light off. but it still draws power from the battery, which is a bummer. Likewise. No matter how much I get by on the console. 2 or 3 turn back on after a few minutes, VERY annoying. I would return them, but in my haste I lost one of the "flame" pieces. 🤦🏼‍♀️ waste of money.

Bought as decorations for a Harry Potter themed party, the candles make a great floating candle over a dining table when paired with clear string. The remote works in close proximity to candles, but sometimes it takes a few button presses to light all the candles. The light is warm yellow but very soft. They are too dim to provide real lighting, only decorative.

They are Great! They look amazing hanging from my porch and create a floating Harry Potter candle vibe. They can be a bit heavy as each candle uses 2 AA batteries so the command bars aren't conducive to hanging them that way, but I could see a strong magnet if hanging from a metal ceiling. I made a LARGE Styrofoam cake, painted it with chocolate frosting, glued fake strawberries on top and placed candles on top to make a birthday cake.
