Raylab SPG90120 Honeycomb Softbox The Raylab SPG90120 Softbox is a Bowens mount flash light modifier designed to create soft, diffuse lighting without harsh shadows or glare. The size of the softbox is 90x120 cm. The device consists of a reflector, an external and internal diffuser with a UV coating, a supporting frame (a cast aluminum adapter and a replaceable bayonet ring on Bowens), and a honeycomb attachment. The closed design avoids unwanted glare and loss of light output. The reflector, with a silver fabric inside, provides a uniform illumination of the diffuser, which in turn, due to the large surface, softens the formed shadows. An additional internal diffuser improves the uniformity of the light output. Tips on elastic metal needles do not damage the fabric spoke holders of the softbox and facilitate the assembly of the structure.
