Great Adapter for Smooth Data Transfer

This adapter device has helped me immensely in transferring data between my computers and other devices. Based on my observations, it efficiently converts NMEA 0183 data to SeaTalk NG making it seamlessly work with Raymarine products. The compact design makes it easy to carry and use wherever needed. Its compatibility with multiple devices is a big plus. However, the only con I can think of is that the instruction manual could be more detailed. Overall, a great product for anyone requiring data

Pros
  • Easily connects NMEA 0183 devices to SeaTalk NG networks
Cons
  • Not compatible with non-Raymarine products

Just plug in and get started!

I used this to connect my Vesper AIS to my SeatalkNG network. Connected, everything worked the first time. The Seatalk cable system is very good. The ends of the cables are small, making them easy to route in fairly tight spaces.

Pros
  • Accessories and consumables
Cons
  • Don't really like it's ok

Good adapter/combination and matching STNG N2K

These are very handy cables. It allows you to either add a SeaTalk NG device to your NMEA 2000 network or add a NMEA 2000 device to your SeaTalk NG network. It's the same communication standard. Raymarine does not use SeaTalk NG on its latest models, but this cable will be needed for many years to come.

Pros
  • Plug and adapter
Cons
  • Not bad
