Great for French

Bruno hates all coats, they can be a bit loose or very tight and are very easy to put on and take off without a lot of leg maneuvers.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Thin

Good waterproof jacket for dogs.

This is a very nice waterproof dog jacket. My dog doesn't mind it and seems to keep him warm and dry. He makes a few attempts to put it on. to the right

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Love the design but tweaks

I love the design of this jacket, especially the T-strap that covers my dog's chest. I bought a size up for my dog to cover more of his back but this also resulted in the bottom strap being too big for him. I added velcro to keep the strap from hanging down. I also had to make a small notch in the jacket's neckline because my dog's leash had actually come loose from the harness - the leash clip must have rubbed against the jacket and thereby become detached from the harness. I adjusted the open

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Well made and protects my pup from the cold and rain.

I wanted to wait to write this review after a few showers. This is a very well made jacket with a tight velcro closure to keep it in place. Pitbulls are known to be difficult to "attract" due to their unusual size. As per the suggestions I went to a size 24 which fits well with her wide chest and also hides her butt. It's a little long, but it doesn't affect her potty training. She has worn this jacket on several rainy outings and I am happy to report that the jacket has kept her completely dry

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • No

Extremely well made and durable

So I spent 40.00 each for my 2 dogs on a great brand from Canada. Raincoats are thin and therefore move on a leash and rise. I thought I've had my oldest dog coat for 5 YEARS and it's still in perfect shape and it's amazing so let me get the RC pet coat now that I've spent my money! Although I wanted the same style as my Bert I had to opt for newer versions of it. Not only are they made from the same GREAT material, they're the perfect length (no bullying) and they have a velcro closure. This…

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • I'll write later

Coopy Approved in Dogs

I ordered red size 14 for our large mini pin named Coopy. He weighs 20 pounds and has a 21 inch chest. It fits perfectly and the design allows for many adjustments, keeping it very secure. More complex than some, but better suited. (Translation: There is no pee on the jacket). The leash hole is better positioned for use with a collar than a harness. The outer shell feels water repellent and the fleece lining is soft and I think warm without being too thick or bulky. Coopy has some heavier coats

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Lightweight waterproof jacket

I ordered a new RC Pet Cascade and an old RC Pet West Coast Rainwear from Revain for comparison purposes. Both have the same neckline and are waterproof. I keep West Coast because of the use of heavier and thicker fleece (West Coast is about 20% heavier than Cascade - both are 22 inches). However, if my dog was under 20 inches, I would choose the Cascade for the front cover. I hope RC will eventually add a medium to large sized canine front panel to the Cascade coat. I am replacing a 6 year old

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different

Well tailored, easy to put on, comfortable fit

Two years ago my rescue team wore the size 18 RC Cascading Jacket. We liked the fit, comfort, easy on and off, and stability in rain and snow . We have chosen to stay with the RC brand as it has grown. Now she has: neck 15", lower neck 19", girth 25.5", length 21". Measurements are the best way to find the best fit, but for reference, she weighs 40 pounds (little for a 100 percent wand, but a DNA test showed she's 75 percent wand and dachshund). Size 22 suits her. Although a bit roomy in girth,

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous
