Very disappointed. We bought these for our daughter to take with us in the car on long trips. We set everything up and when the disc was inserted it took over 10 minutes to read the disc, once it was read we either got an invalid disc or couldn't read it. So we took out the disc without a scratch, put it back in, read the disc for another 10 minutes, it started playing the movie. A decent player for the price but you really have to expect a VERY short lifespan and a lot of disc skips which really isn't worth it. I bought it after reading the bad reviews but was hoping for an exception, especially as RCA was extremely competent and durable when it came to my other electronics.
