I'm not an electrician but wanted to attach this to the headboard and run an invisible wire through the back. It is soldered in such a way that I would have to re-solder the wiring to completely hide the wiring. Instead, I attached it to the back of the headboard. Problem solved. Good product. Arrived a few days late (no problem for me).

These new LED lights are wall mounted on either side of the headboard of a queen bed. Another bracket-shaped LED light is located next to a large chair in the same room. Three lamps use much less energy than two old lamps in a room. Now I can turn on the LEDs, read a book in my chair while my spouse sleeps without the old bright lights getting in the way. However, older brighter lamps can still be used if required.

Bought these for my family who needed reading lights in the room. Contains 2 pieces for each side of the bed. Plugged into an outlet. I managed to hide the cables behind a large headboard. Avoid showing wires. The toggle switches are located at the base of the lamp and can be easily switched on and off. The neck of the lamp is flexible, retaining its "shape" and staying in place. The bright LED bulb really brightens up the room without disturbing your spouse's bedside.

I first bought a set of these lamps for my guest bedroom as I had to spend the night there when the air conditioning went out in my main house this summer in 100 degree weather. My guest bedroom has a separate window unit so I could at least stay cool enough to sleep in until the AC was fixed, but when I tried to use my laptop and read on the guest bed it was too dark so I bought these and they are AWESOME! Now they are in all three of my bedrooms. They are cool!

I used them over my desk. They are very bright and I love that I can control the flexible neck to direct the light where I need it. The only problem I had was the installation. The two screws should line up on either side of the base. This would be easier if the wiring inside had enough room to fit snugly into the base on the panel. I had to keep rearranging the wiring to finally secure the base firmly so the screws lined up properly. After that they looked great.

Basic Installation Kit. The instructions are basically useless. It has three graphic boxes, the last one basically says "enjoy". The screws are flimsy, one hit with a screwdriver and they snapped off. The light shines well, quite bright especially when other lights are off. To be honest it would be a nice improvement if you went for something more dimmer (like a three way dimmer if not). This is an LED that is great for low power consumption, longevity and low heat build-up.

While staying at a nice hotel, I noticed flexible LED bedside reading lamps. I wrote down the make and model and started buying a kit for my bed home. The hotel suite cost over $300. They looked like a great economical alternative. They were easy to install. My only criticism is that the light is a bit bright for reading at night but works very well. The flexible arm makes it easy to direct the light where you want it and then move it out of the way. Looks stylish and modern too! A+++
