At the time of writing this article I cannot recommend or disapprove this device as I do not know if the measurements are accurate. It would be useful to have some kind of benchmark or circumstance where the user could test it and evaluate the validity of the readings. So my rating is 3 stars, neutral, out of 5. The device measures changes in air quality from the inside out. I didn't feel it gave accurate data. I've spent a lot of time figuring out how to find the concentration of formaldehyde in the air online and called several air quality instrument retailers. Accurate measurement of volatile organic compounds and formaldehyde is very difficult and uses equipment costing many hundreds and thousands of dollars.
