Traveled 5600 miles in 12 days on this backrest - worked as it should. This rest worked really well for me and wasn't too difficult to install. Friends who tried it loved it. You adjust your driving style with the backrest, so you need to get used to it before a long drive. I did a few runs before going on vacation.

Good, good, bad and ugly. The backrest does exactly what I need it for - support on long rides. Semi-easy to install with a few modifications. The spring that sticks out of the assembly needs to be pushed either flush or deeper so it doesn't tear your seat apart. Also, I found that the backrest should recline further even in "fully reclined" mode - so with a little effort I got on the bike where I needed to be. Installed this on my 2014 Ultra Limited and so far I love it. I'm leaving for a 2 week trip in a few days and will update this if my mind changes. The installation was a bit complicated in my case. The supplied manual is too small and looked like third generation copies. I have air intakes on the side, which makes it difficult to install the wishbone. I also have passenger grab bars that attach to the same bolts under the seat as this one. This causes more problems than buckets because the…
