Not as white as shown

Off white instead of pure white as shown. Easy to install as I already had an existing lamp and just plugged it straight in. Good for the price, but I probably won't buy again.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Fits

Do not know. Not at all

White plastic ring with yellow tint. I wanted to paint it white but the glass is cream yellow so the glass always looks dirty. No thank you.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Great cover on fairing

Like covers from big stores. The cover fits snugly against the ceiling. The pad is made of nice, durable plastic with a foam ring to ensure a snug fit on the ceiling. The glass is frosted without tinting.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Good but not great

These are more than just lightweight cases, these are oracles

Arrived exactly as advertised and served its purpose. Keeps my recessed lights looking like new. I also found that as soon as the new lenses came out, the light gave me the ability to sing like Ethel Merman.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Cheap, plastic and labor.

Not fashionable; they are functional. Yes, they're still there, and installing them requires a bit of compression, but that's what you need. I replaced two in my house and spent about 5 minutes on each. They looked a little warped/curved when they came out of the box but they fit snugly and were flat. I would recommend them.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Obsolete model

The perfect way to diffuse those bright LED bulbs!

I bought this for a hallway light in my house that was too bright for my comfort/taste (LED bulbs are SO bright). I wanted something stylish that would dim the blinding brightness of the bulb. This case did the job perfectly. It looks very beautiful and diffuses bright light to make it more comfortable. I am very satisfied with this product. It was very easy to assemble and fits perfectly in the downlight housing (light doesn't go over the edge)

Perfect fit, easy installation

When I recently went to replace a burned out shower niche, the old cover broke on the hinges holding it in place. Found a replacement at a good price. It turned out to be more reliable than the original. It takes a bit of coordination to bend the hinges and fit them into the slots, but that's the nature of this design. After I inserted the springs into the recessed light's grooves, it snapped easily and cleanly into place. The frosted lens diffuser provides soft light in the shower and is now…

Pros
  • Recessed lighting
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Super stiff springs, works great

This seems a little more durable than the builder that comes with it. Gasket for watertight closure, frosted lens for light distribution. The springs are insanely taut, the arms aren't as strong as before. Secure half of one side in the jar, then bend the other half so it's under the clip. Now that it's supported on one side you can squeeze the spring with both hands and hook it to the clips on the side of the can. Then press firmly against the ceiling. We switched to LED bulb, much less heat…
