Converted outdoor patios

Replaced peeling white paint with oil bronze covered partitions. It went really well with all of my outdoor patio ledges.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Good price for trim

They were less than half the price of the halos sold at my local store which I replaced because they were yellowing. I hope they don't turn yellow like a halo.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • big and bulky

What a fantastic find!

These trims are just what I was looking for. The brushed nickel finish is beautiful and the price is fantastic. I give them my highest recommendation.

Pros
  • finished
Cons
  • wrinkled

Spend. but modern look

A bit pricey for what it is in my opinion but they look really good! Modern look, more stylish than white. And I wanted black. But they mostly look black, even though it's technically "bronze".

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Secret

Looks great for can lights with replaceable bulbs

The 4 inch recessed LED lights in our kitchen (which were supposed to last 30 years) kept blowing out so we hired an electrician to change them two or three of them every six months. Eventually I got fed up with the hassle and expense and replaced them all and added 9 new jars to our common room with 4" sockets that fit R20 bulbs which I can remove and replace myself. For some reason the electrician installing these new boxes didn't realize they needed a finish so I bought them not sure if they

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Half the price of Halo

Checked out these to replace about 30 lights in my new home. Was a bit suspicious. I bought Halo brand fairings from Lowe's and ordered them to compare. The Torchstar pads were strong and easy to install. I sent the Halo bars back and ordered more. Very happy with my decision. The original trim levels had black stepped baffles. White partitions on it look much more modern, merging with the ceiling.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power

Much better than the ones available at Home Depot or Lowe's

These slip rings are, in my opinion, much better than those available at Home Depot or Lowe's for a number of reasons, and they are much cheaper. I've included a picture of the TorchStar fairing on the left and the store-bought fairing on the right. Store-bought is very plastic, discolors over time and seems impossible to clean. The Torchstar finish is made of thin metal and has a very smooth surface that is always easy to clean. The torch star fairing has a hole that houses the bulbs that is…
