This book light is just perfect. I love how the light has louvers that open so the light is directed to both sides (no need to detach the book light and attach it to the other side every time you switch pages). There are 3 levels of brightness. Medium to lightest settings are ideal for "old, tired eyes".

I have had several of these lights but this design eliminates all the weaknesses of other models. It's surprisingly bright (although this setting drains the battery quicker), has a perfectly long neck (although it adds a bit more weight) and can illuminate both sides of a large book without even splaying the light head. Additional lighting is not required. As I read to my family every night I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

I bought this lamp for my son because he sleeps on the top bunk and doesn't want to get out of bed to turn off the light. He loves to. It has 3 brightness settings, the lamp can be split or not depending on how big the books you are reading and to charge you just use the included USB (no wall adapter is included though). . So far we are happy with the purchase. I don't know about the battery life because it just plugs in in the morning so it's ready to go again in the evening.

This light has quickly become my favorite book light. It illuminates the page nicely and evenly. Adjustable neck is good. The fact that the light expands isn't very useful for reading regular paperbacks, but it's cool nonetheless. Battery life was good.
