8 ordered these to hook up the fuse box in my 2018 Ram 1500. It does the job but the Ga on the wire is only 18 or 16. Not for circuit lighting.

We work in a small car stereo shop and find these very useful when trying to hook them up to the ignition. Instead of wrapping the wire around the fuse, it's much safer to use a fuse tap so nothing flows back into the car. Highly recommended.

I had no idea such a product existed until I received it in a hardware installation package of another product. Unfortunately it didn't fit my car. Once I received them I was able to use two of these to quickly and safely add two electrical accessories to my truck.

The device basically works, but I had to overdo the fuses. The fuse on the left in the picture I've attached is what they provided. The fuse on the right is the correct fuse, which you can use to see if it's blown or not. I would not rely on installing the fuses they provide in important electronic equipment.

Although they are great for adding a new circuit to a fuse box, you need to be careful when buying them. The two connectors look the same, but one has tabs on the edges of the connector and one doesn't. The one on the left in the picture has burrs. They didn't work in the 2021 Ford F350. I had to buy the right one to fit the F350. I'm not sure which cars the ones with the crests fit.
