Easy Installation! I installed mine from the inside of my RV, or it can be installed from the top while replacing your vent cap at the same time! A little glue at the beginning of the strip, at each corner and at the end to hold everything in place worked for me! Must be carried out when replacing a new ventilation grille cover!

The item arrived neatly packaged. Installing the new seal was very easy. The length was perfect to fit around a standard zip vent without having to stretch it. The length offered enough room for a good fit. The height allowed the old vent covers to push against the gasket, creating a nice tight seal with no air leakage. I would buy this product again

Perfect fit. I attached it first to see how much I had to push/pull. The overlap was about half an inch. I removed most of it, then taped each corner around a little and pushed it back a little. I glued the end sections and this time everything fitted perfectly. I did this with the lid in place. I used E6000 as the glue, but I might as well have used silicone. Ventline wedge dome cover. I swapped too. Did.

Sorry I don't have that picture. I wanted us to bypass the ventilation in my trailer. They are very small and I needed something much bigger and looking at the picture it looks like it could be. I ended up buying it and throwing it away. In the end I found something different, heavier, rubbery and softer. Look elsewhere for something heavier, bigger and more. This may work for some but not for me in a standard 7x16 trailer vent.

I was on the roof to replace the fan covers and install fans in my RV. We have about 4 nights of dry camping ahead of us and I wanted to give us as much airflow as possible. About other parts anyway in another review. Anyway, I saw that my seals were dry and hard and almost didn't work. I bought these to replace the factory and they were run by myself. I didn't use glue to hold them in place and didn't cut them at all, they flopped and stayed. I see where a little spray would help. In any case,

I was actually wanting to replace the vent covers because they were starting to crack and when deciding on a brand/color I read a comment in reviews that also suggested replacing the rubber gasket. I'm glad I did. The old vent gasket was old and moldy. It shrank at an opening and detached from a corner. The old seal broke off when I pulled it on and I replaced it with a new seal. I trimmed the overlap so there were no gaps. Many thanks to the person who offered to replace the rubber seal…

My husband and I bought a used caravan. The seal around the vent in the bathroom was in poor condition. As you can see from the photos, the old gasket has become discolored, hardened, deformed and has come loose from the vent cover pivot arm.
