I have super short and super thin hair. I asked a woman I barely knew what she put on her hair and she told me. Does my hair look like hers? Not even close. However, Redken has really added volume to my hair and my hair looks better with the product than without which is my win!

Ideal for my curly hair. I've always struggled with my Irish curls. They look frizzy, dull, fall out in places, etc., etc. All that until my barber suggested Redken Hardware #16. Now my hair has never looked so amazing, so easy. Serious. Device #16 provides frizz control without leaving wet but frizzy hair all day long. To apply the product, mash/press into the curls and then dry. Air dry or dry with a hair dryer. Then remove crunches if you have any. Voila! Smooth curls that hold their shape…

I have been using this gel for several years and I really like it! My hair is very thin and this product is great for helping me style my hair without weighing it down. I also know the quality of Redken products. And Revain always has the best competitive price.

I used to buy this gel at the salon and found it was cheaper at Revain. Works well on my short hair but the gel doesn't hold. One hose is thin, the other thick. However, I will continue to use it as it doesn't flake, lasts longer than other products and rinses.

A gel I've been using for years has been changed to an intensely scented formula, so I started looking for a new gel. Free and Clear didn't have a fragrance, but the chemicals caused an allergic reaction. So I decided to try this Redkin product - and it got even worse. I had to wash it out of my hair because I got sick. I threw it away. That doesn't mean it won't work for you - it's just that you might want to think twice if you're allergic to chemicals (fragrances, oil-based products, etc.).

Great smell, good value, incredible holding power. Although this gel lives up to its name. It dries out a lot and makes the hair very hard. I was hesitant to use the gel again thinking I'd get a 90's toned look (for those of us old enough to remember that look) , but my barber used it on my hair once and it completely took away my frizz and gave me waves instead! Now I use it after every shampoo, knead it and let it rise and it looks amazing! I am addicted!
