Good headset but two things I don't like

I love this headset and have generally had very good luck with Reddragon products. However, I wish this headset was USB rather than using audio jacks and I'm not a fan of a detachable mic. It failed me sometimes. The sound quality is decent.

  • Detachable see-through microphone - Detachable microphone wrapped in 4mm thick foam picks up just your voice loud and clear. Ideal for in-game and online chats, and then removed when watching movies or listening to music.

The USB connector is for power, not the audio source on a Windows 10 PC.

For a headset with an audio jack, everything works as described. The USB plug on the PC is only used to power the lighting. I don't expect a cable to last as long as there are kinks in it. The price corresponds to the quality.

A little misleadingly the best in PC

I was deceived. Don't buy them if you don't have an 8" (3.5mm) audio output jack on the device you intend to use them with. USB is for powering RGB LED effects only. Otherwise they are very comfortable. The mic is decent but has a fairly unforgiving noise gate. The sound quality is absolutely terrible. The build quality is really excellent considering the price. I can say that they will continue.

RedDragon - Best Dragon + IMPORTANT PURCHASE INFORMATION

I had this brand of Red Dragon for a long time. They have more colors on the site but for Amazon they have good cheap for great quality. I used to have a black pair that worked fine for about 2 years and bought a new pair (white). I like the detachable mic, usually when I have cheap headphones with a mic they don't detach, but this one does and is very useful. The cable is made of thin, hard leather so it won't cut or bend, and it's also very long. + You will receive a bonus sticker…
