It's hard to find a shoe designed for speed on the track because the "style" of running shoes is designed for long distance, thick-soled models and comfortable models. This shoe is perfect for speed training for sprinters/middle distance runners as well as 5/10k road races. It has the same sole as their $250 model and I paid less than $50!
