Soft, warm and heavy

Very cozy and comfortable. Most reviewers said they didn't overheat overnight, but I do. Caveat, I'm after a break so it's different for me. When it's cold outside, I'm fine at night. But anything warmer than about 35 for the night and I'll overheat. But very comfortable. And luckily spacious as our cat thought it was hers so we share.

Make sure you can handle the weight - 15 pounds is incredibly heavy for a queen!

I liked the idea but I couldn't use it so it was a waste of money. It's too hard to even think about sending it back. It's my own fault for ordering a queen size that matches my bed size but got it VERY wrong. Make sure you can support the weight, especially if you have arthritis or other conditions, even if you try to lift and straighten the blanket. I am an average sized woman of average strength.

Perfect. What about all polyester? I'm returning it

I'm outraged by marketing terms like "velvet", "sherpa" and "fleece" when the word is "polyester" which in this case are all three , is artfully omitted. I bought another one with the bamboo look, but it didn't have fleece, which was attractive until I realized it's a fully synthetic material, which is actually bad for the skin. I'll spend a little more and get one with a bamboo or cotton finish. "Sherpa" lmfao. by Barbie Dalai Lama 😜

This blanket saved my sleep!
