Before you try to refill a cartridge, watch the YouTube video and don't rate this product badly because you don't know how to do it. First I had to go in and disable the cartridge guard. When it's time to refill, you should gently poke the inside of the sponge with the needle and SLOWLY push out the ink. Before use, leave the cartridge for 10-30 minutes to allow the ink to disperse in the sponge. Look at the fill size for your cartridge and don't overfill it.

I've been refilling for years, tried many different inks but this BCH ink is definitely a bomb, it's definitely not water-based like many others despite being a water based ink and dyes. The consistency is spot on, this ink is true to color, black is black and other colors are true to life, prints come out exactly as they should.

I used to contact COSTCO for Canon ink refills but this service has now been discontinued due to the Coronavirus. So I was looking for an inexpensive option and I'm so glad I found this product! Tried it for the first time today and was very impressed with how easy it was with the tools that came with it. The printing is also good. I don't think I will be using COSTCO to refill ink! I can do it myself in 2 minutes if needed and the cost is very low compared to all other options!

I finally bought enough ink for my Canon printer and I don't have to worry about running out of ink in a very, very long time. I love my Canon Pixma printer because the ink cartridges are easy to refill and continue to work perfectly. This ink works great and I feel like I have an endless supply. This saves you a lot of money on ink. I use it in the HP Photo Smart C6380 All-in-One. I couldn't find any relevant instructions online (including a manufacturer's video) for disabling the chip, but we used the ink in my existing HP cartridge and it works perfectly, I didn't see any errors.
