Description of 🍷 Grape Wine Brewing Refractometer | Measure Sugar Content & Predict Alcohol Degree | Dual Scale Brix 0-40% & Alcohol 0-25% vol

HOME WINE BREWING REFRACTOMETER: The grape wine alcohol refractometer is designed for testing the sugar content of grapes juice and predicting the alcohol degree of wine, which produced by these grapes. DUAL SCALE: This wine alcohol refractometer can test grape juice other liquids Brix 0-40% and measure alcohol degree of grape wine 0-25% vol in wine brewing, making wonderful wine from great sugar grapes you chosen. AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE COMPENSATION: The wine refractometer with ATC function, automatically compensated temp when ambient temperature changes, allow you obtained accurate readings more faster and easier. EASY TO USE: The wine alcoholmeter is simple to operate, after calibration, just 2 or 3 drops of solution, fast to know the accurate readings, quicker and easier to pick out ideal grapes for wine making. ACCURACY& PORTABLE: This home-brewing wine refractometer with a higher measurement of refractivity than other ordinary refractometer, our grape refractometer is made of non-staining and non-corrosive aluminium material, rugged design, lightweight and easy to carry.

Does its job but definitely cheap

Parts started to come loose. but still does the job. I think there could be better ones for people actually doing their research.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Excellent Brix Refractometer

This is an amazing quality product for the price. Worked great for checking sugar levels in grape juice. I did a distilled water calibration, exactly 0.

Cons
  • Some little things

Very easy to read - test, measure and verify

I am a home brewer and I have found that the reading agrees with my unfermented wort hydrometer and it is a simple Brix calculation to determine ABV . I find it very easy to read and calibrate, and great for a quick check that fermentation is complete. Very good value for money.

Pros
  • Even the elderly can understand
Cons
  • Some mistakes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The calibration failed after a few months.

I bought this refractometer because it was quite cheap. The first 2 batches seemed to work fine. For some reason the refractometer is now off, the calibration is significantly shifted. The readings were about 0.010-0.012. Now it's practically useless for a meaningful measurement of gravity. Wouldn't recommend it.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • No form needed

Should have gotten this many years ago.

I can't confirm the accuracy but it agrees very well with the hydrometer (floating) and determines small steps much easier. I use it to brew beer. Much easier to use than a hydrometer and almost no beer wasted! When brewing beer, don't get too bogged down in sizing. Calibration on water for brewing .Cheers

Not even remotely accurate

This useless tool gave me a final density of 1.036. This means that my beer that was fermented for 17 days with Kveik yeast, which should have been 6.6%, ended up being only 3%. Yes, this will be a 30% nerf for Quake. I'd rather gargle with beer and guess the alcohol content than spend money on this product. I'm pretty sure my taste buds will be much more accurate in determining final gravity than this product. Either buy a good, expensive refractometer, or stick with your hydrometers (and I…

Cannot confirm accuracy but goes very well with hydrometer (pending) and much easier to see small increments. I use it to brew beer. Much easier to use than a hydrometer and almost no beer wasted! When brewing beer, don't get too bogged down in sizing. Calibration on water for brewing .Cheers
