I love everything about these ice cube trays. The lid is easy to pop off and remove, preventing your ice cream from getting a bad smell or frozen taste. The cubes are smaller and rounder than your "regular" ice cube trays, making the cubes more efficient as more surface area is used to chill beverages before melting. The silicone base of the tray makes it very easy to take out the ice cubes and you no longer have to tap the bottom of the ice mold to take out the ice. Highly recommended.

Superb ice cream molds. Due to their small size, they always fit in the freezer and because they are covered, they can be taken anywhere, you can even put something on top. Just remove just a few cubes without emptying the entire bowl. Sometimes I'll take out a few, fill the empty compartments, put the lid back on and put it back in the freezer. I never used to have ice cream, now I have it all the time. Additionally, the presence of lids means the ice cubes don't taste like a fridge.

Well at first I agreed to buy 2 plastic ice trays as I was trying to get some ice cubes out of the tray, the tray completely broke into 2 pieces, now I am a woman turning 70 and i can assure anyone who might see me as a strong person and this week my right shoulder is killing me it hurts a lot so there is no way i am strong enough to have one break the tray in half unless the tray has a defective crack somewhere.
