Didn’t work at ALL - my new review

This battery didn’t work at all when I put it in it didn’t turn on so I plugged it it and it said 70% then I was like if I’m going to unplug it but it shut down the I plugged it back in it said battery not charging but with the old battery it works good when I plugged but didn’t last long so I ended up throwing the piece of junk and money away DON’T BUY THIS CHEAP THING WIRES WERE UNSOLDERED FROM BOARD

Look elsewhere for durable replacement

This battery worked great for the first 2-3 months on my Macbook Pro. Unfortunately the battery life has taken a nosedive since and now barely lasts 15 minutes.Also, the battery has swelled up significantly.Look elsewhere for a replacement battery.

WARNING! Great at FIRST. but it WILL go bad after just a couple months!

WARNING: this rayhom battery WILL go bad just a few months after you install it. I ordered this exact battery from rayhom here on amazon a few months ago and it worked great at first, but now my MacBook will die after about an hour of use and now sometimes shuts off in the middle of working even when fully charged! It's amazing on my review.

If your Mac Pro battery is failing thins is the best deal, sure as hell better than paying Apple for their battery and labor. Apple integrates their batteries into their system processing so if failing your forced to replace. Can't run charger only or Mac runs in gimped mode. This was easy to install. The hard part is removing the Apple packs especially mine that swelled up and that sticky ad f' glue they use.

Good Value for the Money

This was my first time installing a battery for my MacBook. It would have been helpful that instructions with precautions, glue removal and a couple of necessary battery removal tools for the old battery be included with my battery purchase as I did not realize these were needed. Overall the price and quality were good. I would buy from this seller again.

Flawed battery starts malfunctioning after a while

Unfortunately you get what you pay for -- I installed this battery and all was fine at first (although I was surprised the new battery did not really affect the time the charge would last from the factory installed one). But after a couple of months, I started having problems where the computer would randomly shut off for no reason, even though by its own internal meter the battery had plenty of life (I went through calibrating the battery twice, just in case that was the issue). Computer is now at 4+ hours of usage on the battery

Wow, what a difference this replacement made. Was it easy to install. Not really but there are many videos on how to get it done. The old battery would only work for about 50 minutes. Once replaced it is very important that you follow the conditioning procedure. Yes it is annoying but if you want the battery to last then just do it.

Works perfect best in my review

I had to replace trackpad on my 2013 Macbook pro, so decided to replace battery while I was at it. With the aid of a youtube tutorial was able to do very easily. The battery even came with the tools needed (two mini screwdrivers) that were better quality then the took kit I had. Once installed the battery charged up quickly and lasts a long time. Very well worth the money!

Installation is not hard but taking old battery is a little bit tricky without solvent. Haven’t tested the battery life yet

Battery life is horrible. A couple hours at most.

Easy enough to install, relatively speaking. But the lack of battery life doesn't make the effort worth it. I get a couple hours, at most, while just working with documents.

Easy to install. on my review.

I followed a YouTube video to install the battery, was less complicated than I thought it would be. Everything is running well now and it’s a great hand-me-down after 7 years of use. As far as i can tell, the battery life has been good, my son uses it all the time now.

Tools didn't work for me, but battery works perfectly in a MBP Retina (model A1502)

Since Apple stores are closed and I had the old bloated MBP battery situation, I decided on this battery set.Now, the included tools were the wrong size for the A1502. For a Late 2013 MBP (retina model A1502), you'll need a P5 Pentalobe screwdriver (found easily on Walmart for a few bucks).Battery installed easily, and after calibration, works perfectly too.Solid buy if your Macbook looks like it needs Jenny Craig.
