Replaced an old piezo as I had to replace an old broken front assembly. It worked the first time I tried to turn on the indicator light. I hope for a long life without problems.

I ordered a similar igniter assembly in 2014 which lasted through 2019. Too bad I didn't think to look it up in the order history because this piezo worked the first day and then died! Garbage! I'm not sure what could go wrong, but it did! Ordered another; This time it will be Rheem which I previously ordered.

Worked great as a replacement for the AO Smith GCV-50-100 piezo igniter. The mount and igniter were identical. The part number for the old igniter was 145-1410. My tank was ready for use again in no time. None of the 7 different parts dealers I contacted seemed to have one in stock. Thank god for the quick delivery.

My water heater has this control valve. Selling a replacement piezo igniter. So I took a chance and ordered this one. I was able to connect it easily and easily install it on my water heater with the help of the mounting bracket. There was some kind of exposed connector, but I just taped it off and saved $100.
