I just received this watch in the mail, it was "wrapped" in a thin plastic bag "lighter than our smallest box". I couldn't figure out what it was because I was expecting a box within a box like Revain usually does, and it had a few pieces inside that I could feel inside. Well, the Fossil Relic tin was separate, the watch holder was separate, and fortunately the watch was housed in a thin plastic case. I usually love the packaging, but this one was a failure! Update 4/5/18: I no longer wear this watch because the strap irritates my skin. Causes a small red rash. I'm not sure why, it wasn't in the beginning, but now it is. I tried to find a different strap for them but it turned out that this is not a very common strap size. These are beautiful watches. Can be worn with casual or dressy outfits. At first the ticking sounded pretty loud, but I got used to it and now I hardly notice it. I wear it almost every day and it holds up great.

I am very satisfied with this watch. I looked at so many on Revain and narrowed it down to Timex and Fossil. I wanted something sporty with a leather strap that I could wear many times a week. I didn't want a digital or big face and this relic from Fossil fits my wrist perfectly. This style even has a small date window. I love Fossil products and this watch was at such a great price! We have no problems with the watch except noise. I am a watch collector, I have over 30 watches ranging from $50 to $300 and I always wear a watch. I bought it for my wife and the first thing that struck me was how loud it is. It may sound ridiculous, but if she leaves it on the dresser at night, all I can do to fall asleep is the ticking of the clock. This watch is beautiful and well made. Nice navy blue leather strap, although too long for my 5 3/4" wrist. I have it on the last hole, and the end of the strap is 5/8" from touching the case after it wraps around the wrist.
