Not For All Teethers

Purchased 2 mits, one for each of my Abby’s hands but she is totally uninterested due to sizing. They are a bit large and hang off her hands even when strapped on tightly. Not the easiest to clean due to cloth material (I usually toss them in washer and dryer after each use, so they don’t get used that often). They may be better suit for teething and teether a id they were made of all rubber/silicone.

Pros
  • My baby likes this a lot but gets a litte frustrated after a while
Cons
  • Difficult to get on baby’s hand, comes off easily. Doesn’t function as it should. Waste of money for us

Very small on my review.

Way too small for my 6 month old (who is also a preemie so he is on the small side). He still likes to play with it and chew on it though.

Pros
  • My son was 4 months when I bought them. He’s 6 months now & still loves these.
Cons
  • The textured surface may be too rough and cause irritation to delicate gums

It’s just giant. It’s so huge and it doesn’t really stay on

It’s like twice the size of the babies hand and it doesn’t stay on either. Seems like a good idea but it’s just hard for a baby to use because it’s way too big.

Pros
  • The adjustable strap allows for a comfortable fit without being too tight or uncomfortable
Cons
  • The adjustable straps may chafe babies' delicate skin

Not what you think but still great

My daughter loves this teether but she doesn't actually wear it. The person who made this had high expectations for a baby. She stills loves to play with it and the little sleeve part makes a crunchy sound that keeps her entertained

Pros
  • Teething mitts are machine washable; machine wash on cold or hand wash and air dry
Cons
  • The bunny design may not be suitable for older babies

Didn't stay on his hand

This was one of the first teethers we bought. It did not stay on his hand even for a few minutes. After a few uses, the stitching started to come loose. I also didn't like that you couldn't sterilize it and it took forever to dry after washing. I'll stick to the all-over silicone that can easily be washed and dried.

Pros
  • ‎No
Cons
  • The adjustable straps may be too difficult to use for some caregivers

Too small, but still effective

This "mitten" won't even go on my baby's hand. However, she does like holding it to use as something to chew on and the crinkle fabric sound of the mitten is a plus, she loves that too! Minus a few stars for fit, but a few stars for a play toy.

Pros
  • The mitt is durable and will last throughout your baby's teething stage
Cons
  • The bunny design may not be suitable for babies with certain disabilities

Really does run small

I dont think hands are supposed to go all the way up into the silicone part, but my 3 month olds hands barely fit into the fabric part. He's enjoying playing with it so we'll keep it, but I wish it fit so he wouldn't drop it.

Pros
  • Unlike traditional teething toys, the mitt won't get lost or dropped as easily
Cons
  • The bunny design may not match other baby gear

Good but very small

Only gave 3 starts because of how small it is! Could barely get it in LO’s hand but she does like it just it’s so small that I can’t keep it on her very long

Pros
  • Itzy Ritzy silicone teething mitts provide relief to emerging teeth and massage sore gums; they are made of food grade silicone and are non-toxic and free of BPA and PVC
Cons
  • The mitt may not be effective in relieving teething pain

My baby didn't like it til he was 8 months

I bought this for my newborn but he was not interested in the slightest, and when he got his teeth he didn't care much. But at about 8 months old to a year he likes it because of the crinkly sound lol. He'll bite on it just bc he likes biting things but I don't know if it's helping for his teething specifically.Easy to clean I just toss it in the washer.

Pros
  • Parents can rest easy knowing their baby's teething pain is being relieved with this product
Cons
  • The bunny design may not be suitable for all cultures and religions

Great in theory good for me

I thought this was a great idea, my 3 month old is already teething and holding onto a traditional teething ring or other instrument just isn't his thing, however, he LOVES to gnaw on his hands so I figured this would be great. You know what they say about assuming. he wants NOTHING to do with it. Throws an absolute fit when he discovers it covering his pudgy little fist. Maybe a few weeks down the line. Also, being that the 'sleeve' part of the teether is fabric it would absolutely need to be…

Pros
  • A great gorgeous cranky teething baby
Cons
  • This is a cute idea but it does not stay on my baby’s hand.

Great for teething, not great to stay on hands.

I’ve got a teething 4 month old so I tried this because he kept chewing on his hands. This works well when it stays in place. It doesn’t stay on his hands well at all so he mostly just holds it to chew.

Pros
  • Your baby will love the soft feel of the mitt on their skin
Cons
  • The mitt may not be versatile enough for babies at different stages of teething

Good idea in theory. but does not fit or stay on

It is rare for a baby to have his/her hand completely opened straight. which is why this product doesn't really work. It really is a great idea in theory, but in my opinion this was poor execution. Not very well thought out. My baby is going to be 3 months in a week and is barely over 10lbs. Her hands are not large and this product will not fit or stay on simply because her hands form fists. It is close to impossible to get a baby to keep hands opened straight.Pros: very easy to clean, cute

Pros
  • ‎Silicone
Cons
  • The mitt may be too expensive compared to other teething products

Great teether with some hiccups

**update at 8 monthsHe still isn't really interested in the mitt overall. He doesn't like to put it on his hands and would prefer to hold it. Durability- the item hasn't been used much in the last 8 months. Which is why it still looks like it did out of the box. I will say though that the stiching and silicone pieces haven't faded or frayed when we washed or wiped it down.Durability is certainly there. It's cute and simple, but my 6 month old just grabs it with both hands and chews on it for 20

Pros
  • Got this as a gift , baby loves it and uses it often. Easy to clean and very durable
Cons
  • Says 3 months plus but the glove doesn't fit my 3 month old

What does the fox say?!

My sun doesn’t wear It on his hand it kept falling off no matter how tight I put it in him so he teeths on it just by holding it. Love the fox look super adorable

Pros
  • It's the perfect combination of soft and sturdy, making it easy for your baby to grip and chew on
Cons
  • The texture may cause irritation to the inside of the mouth

Small but mighty best in my review

We love these so much that we bought two of them. Our baby prefers the cactus over the llama. It’s easier for him to chew. He has two teeth now and it won’t fit his hand much longer. Wish they were Sounds good! Tiny bit bigger. We love the crinkle noises they make, that he can’t lose it when it’s on his hand, and that it’s great for teething.

Pros
  • It can be used at home, in the car, or on-the-go, providing relief whenever your baby needs it
Cons
  • The bunny design may not be suitable for gender-neutral parenting

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Difficult to put on hand

Better in theory than in practicality. Baby used it by holding it rather than it being placed on hand because tiny (mind of their own) baby fingers and stiff teether mitten aren't very compatible

Pros
  • The bunny teething mitt makes a great gift for expecting parents
Cons
  • The adjustable straps may cause discomfort or irritation to babies' skin

Returned item in my review

I sadly had to return this item. The mitt fits my 4 month olds balled up hand, however it WILL NOT say on for more than 5 minutes no matter how tight I Velcro it. I have had good luck with Malarkey Munch Mitt though.

Pros
  • I loved this item
Cons
  • The crinkly noise may startle and scare some babies

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Cute but not for chunky babies

Super cute but my 4 month old is a chunk and sadly it doesn’t fit his whole hand so it is a little uncomfortable. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • An adjustable strap ensures a secure fit and helps the mitt stay in place – perfect for babies who can’t yet hold a teether
Cons
  • The mitt may not fit well on some babies' hands

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good product for my opinion

The mit is a little too bulky and long for my 4 month old. He’s always eating his hands so we thought this would be perfect to help teeth. The mit doesn’t stay on well, he hands are small still and it’s hard for him to get the textured rubber part in his mouth, which I believe is the purpose… I do like the crinkle sound the glove part makes, it does entertain him while trying to chew. Will definitely pull this back out when he’s a bit bigger. Just not working for us too well at this age, and…

Pros
  • ‎6.69 x 4.17 x 0.98 inches
Cons
  • The texture may cause babies to drool excessively

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Get the fox instead

The world doesn’t have many ridges. So it’s kind of like baby is teething on large thick hard pacifier. I did order the fox and he loves the fox. I am considering ordering the cactus next. I love how it makes you put the babies hand in open and also thumb out to be free so baby has full control over the mitten! Love how not only Sue’s my baby but also develops fine motor and gross skills

Pros
  • The bunny teething mitt is a parent-approved solution for teething pain relief
Cons
  • The bunny design may be too juvenile for older babies and toddlers
