Remington Airetrex 365 UV Home Air Sanitizer (REM-7365UV-120) Review

I started using it in class in August. I'm so glad I bought it. It helps reduce my allergies and I feel like it helps with germs. I thought so, but then it stopped working. Of course, 4 days have passed since the end of product support and the warranty is no longer valid. I bought it in August 2020 and it stopped working on February 4th, 2021. In just 6 months. I would not recommend this product. Too expensive to replace after only 6 months.

I've been using this air sanitizer for 3 days now I can say it's a good buy in Regarding its importance during this pandemic. That should be in every household. Fan1 mode, lamp not on: 20W Fan2 mode, lamp not on: 15W The lamp adds about 11 W when switched on. The manual says the total output is 35 watts, so nothing suspicious about that. My concern is that you can't see enough of what appears to be direct light coming from the front of the device. Shouldn't we avoid direct UV exposure? I have no intention of sitting in front of it and staring longingly into the forbidden light, but doesn't UV bombardment ruin the paint/varnish/plastic it might be aimed
