I purchased this as a birthday present for my son in February. It seemed like a good purchase but the steering servo broke within a week. The replacement servo took about 4 weeks to get here from China (ordered from ebay) since none of local hobby shops carried this proprietary part. Now the motor won't work when the throttle is pressed on the remote. My son probably got to play with it for about 4 hours total. At least the steering servo activates, smh.

Good little Truck. Wish it was a little faster but it still has some power. Like the fact that the lights on top and front actually function so you can run the truck at night or in low light.

Had return the first one it was broken but second one came in promptly an is working great he really likes it Vroom... Vroom... This little remote control car boogie woo!

Nice car for the price. Just keep it out of the sand, motor gets clogged up and won't turn had to use air compressor to blow out. Otherwise good fun fast car.

My son was very excited to get this item, saved up to buy with his own money. It arrived yesterday, he drove it into the curb, and it cracked! There's also some damage on the back from bumping the tire of the car. For the price I'd hoped this item was more durable!

I would recommend children 10 and over are best at handling this car. But it's a good deal for the money and the car is already charged when it arrives, which is a plus. It is very durable. Ours has been run at top speed in mulch, sidewalks, roads, and dry grass. I wouldn't recommend driving in wet or damp grass or tall grass because it will be in the wheels and prevent it from rolling. I have used it a couple of times on dirt like the way is in the picture and already started making a cracking noise on the motor as well over heating the motor to the point you can't hold the motor. Once the motor start heating up the car stop moving. sorry but, am going to returned not worth it!

This is an awesome RC, has working lights on the top and on the front, gets about 15 to 20 minutes per charge, you can take a hit and a flip without causing any damage. This truck would be a great buy if only built a little heavier in some key areas. One are being the shock towers, or the 'shore' as the parts list says. In my case the rear shock tower snapped at the base leaving the truck bottomed out. It was a relatively minor impact from a tumble down 3 steps. Yes, this is the beginner level RC car for the hobbyist level, but it also has some features that are above standard. You are able to adjust the throttle sensor so that you can govern the speed to help you learn to control the car. Although, I would say that this car is a bit finicky about reverse. It is supposed to work such as you hit reverse once which is for braking and then a second time for reverse. Often times you have to wait, and re-hit reverse a few times to get it to reverse. In…

This was a good purchase. I had already sent one back because it kept stalling and wouldn't respond very well. This one does MUCH better. There are still hesitations at times, but nothing that's a real concern. It definitely doesn't go 30 MPH, but it is fast. I really like how well it maneuvers and the turn radius is great. Lights work great both in front and on top. The kids love it so far. I haven't had it long, so I hope it holds up.
