Not sure why the reviews say they are for kids jackets. They fit perfectly in my oversized adult jacket. The shoulder pads are a little "thin" but seem to work - hopefully I never have to find out. Definitely recommend.

I've never worn armor. I bought these to save a few bucks and if I like them I thought I might invest more later as I suppose the value here matches the quality. It is great! An update is not required. They fit like a made-to-measure in my HD jacket.

They're smaller than what came in Joe's Rocket XL, but they fit great. I like that it's stiff (not ribbed). The foam that came with the Joe Rocket jacket was a lot thicker, but you can see what has become of it. I will never buy a Joe Rocket jacket again.

I like my Joe Rocket jacket (men's medium) but the supposedly CE certified tank was rubber and fell apart over time. This armor isn't just rubber. It's more like the knee pads you buy at the hardware store: fabric and plastic. It is (temporarily) bent enough to fit into the slots on the shoulder and arms. Now the jacket should last another ten, fifteen years. The armor will likely outlive the jacket. If I need to replace the armor with another motorcycle jacket, I will buy this one.

These CE armor replacement parts are the same quality as the armor in my Tourmaster Intake jacket. Although I have never crash tested my Tourmaster armor, it has never crumbled like Joe Rocket's CE armor in my wife and son's jackets. The rubber armor JR uses sucks. I've replaced it before and it fell apart again. Once in the son's jacket and twice in the wife's jacket. So this time I bought this brand.
