I am 5'6" tall and about a 14 maybe 16 dress size depending on fit. I am large chested currently about 36G. I ordered the 2x size and I'm so glad I did. The smocking/elastic at the waist needs to start lower to accommodate anyone who has a medium/large bust. I love the dress! The fit was good although, at my age, I might have been a little happier in the next size up which might have shown slightly less decollete. I got this dress as a time period piece for a musical and I love it. The color purple is deep and beautiful and it fits as expected. The length is long and comes just above my shoes. Very comfortable too.

Excellent dress. Great fit, very comfortable, and a classic casual look, but still sexy with the neckline. The dress does not lay flat and has seams that cause bulging.

This dress is beautiful. It's also made of cotton which is the material I prefer to wear. In order for the top part of the dress to fit correctly, you'd have to show lots of cleavage. I'm not comfortable with that, so I removed 2 rows of the elastic with a seam ripper so the elastic would be just below the bust where it's supposed to be. There are 5 double rows of elastic. Had ordered it in medium and returned it, hoping to gain a little more length by ordering the large. Wish I had kept the medium and worn boots or dark tights and shoes though, I wanted the teal color as pictured and described as blue, which I got in the medium. Dress is a little tight if you have a large chest, but is easily remedied if you don't mind taking some stitches out in the bodice. It has a built in slip so material is not see through which is nice. Color was accurate to picture. Good dress for the price.

I bought a couple of white dresses for a party and this one fits the best. I like the material and there is a slip underneath. Which I was surprised, I wasn't expecting it. I will be ordering from this company again. I do wish it was a little longer, I'm 5'5 and it fits right at my ankle, but because the party is outside the length is fine so the bottom won't get dirty.

This dress is beautiful. However, it was very unflattering in the bust. I am bigger busted and it looked like that was all there was to me. I went by the advice of another reviewer and took out a row of elastic. It now fits beautifully and I am very happy with it.

Its beautiful, but I recommend that you hand wash it or was it as little as possible because it begins to look worn and old quickly.
