Well when his racquet started drifting so much he In order not to use it, I ordered this kit and replaced it. It's not the first time I've had to open his controller to fix it and I'm sure it won't be the last.

Fixed controller drift and my controller works like new again! Installation tip - Unsolder the vibration and trigger motors from the circuit board. You will also need to cut out the old embroidery blocks. The new sticks don't have a rubber grip but a silicone grip, so they're grippier! Would buy again!

This is a good solution for controllers that have the problem of moving the cursor up unintentionally. I only used the sensors in the joystick to fix mine and one of the torque screwdrivers is useless. I had to find the right size myself. You can replace the entire joystick, but you must be able to solder computer components.

Build quality is excellent, minimal soldering experience required, preferably solder extraction is handy for removing 14 solder points. Black ring no solder but that didn't work for me so I opted for complete removal and replaced the part and it works great. Happy with savings and results.

Good value considering tools, gauges and joysticks are included. Unfortunately, they are already worn out and it has only been a month. And I mean bad. However, the drift problem is gone. I didn't desolder or re-solder the new ones, I just snapped the metal washers off the new ones and transplanted them into the already soldered components. There are videos on YouTube on how to do it so you don't have to solder anything.

Bought mainly for screwdrivers. I received two screwdrivers, but one of them (T10) is too big to fit anything on the Xbox One controller. A smaller screwdriver (T8) is ideal for removing the bezel/outer shell of the controller, but it's not small enough to further disassemble it. You must completely and carefully disassemble, desolder and resolder the components on the circuit board to install the sensor part yourself. Getting it wrong can ruin the controller motherboard, among other things. Joystick caps can be installed over existing sensors if you're ok and they offer more grip than the original. They are clear, not black, and the rubber wears out much quicker than the original caps. TL; DR I would recommend that you take them to a professional to have them installed

Side clip has broken off right joystick control module. and stuck, preventing upward movement of the thumb grip. After breaking the controller, I realized that these replacement modules are better than the original parts. Original parts with the bezel and joysticks removed would have stuck at the extremes X or Y. The bezel limits travel so no binding occurs prior to disassembly. These new models don't.
