Perfect cable replacement for my Astro headset. The mute button is a plus and the volume slider gives me quick access to volume when I need it. The cable is very flexible and feels solid. I am very happy with it cord. Good value for money!

Sounded great but as you can see in the photo it started twisting after day 4 so hard as unhooking when you're done but none small movements like eating or drinking, kink, you literally have to stay perfectly still when using other ways to get kink

This item was the best I could find for replacing a computer headset cable. This included muting the well-placed microphone. This cable is good and doesn't rub on clothes easily. Unfortunately, I believe that no cable should have a volume control. This resistance degrades sound quality and cannot be removed from the signal path.

Cable is good, volume control is better than A10s and mute button is simpler than A40s. Overall a good replacement cable and value for money, it's 2 for 1, unlike Astros products. The only problem is that when you have an Astro mixamp like tr pro it has a ringing effect and it can get annoying with the sound during a play session and that's the only negative I have with it. The cable is a good replacement and worth the money, but not suitable for a mixamp.

I use this with Skullcandy headphones. I figured something was wrong with the cable as I couldn't get the mic signal through it. I connected the cable so that the volume/mute end connects to the headphone jack. I accidentally mixed up the cable so the mic/volume control end was on the computer side. Miraculously, I had a microphone signal on my computer. Everything else works too, the mute button and the volume control. Luckily I just bought a mute board so the end of this cable is on my desk…
