Incandescent Outdoor 💡 Commercial Vintage Bulb Replacement Review

I just received this order to replace used, hard to find (local) light bulbs for an outdoor lighting string that were for sale at Harbor Freight. All bulbs arrived intact; none broke during the trip to Alaska. The first two bulbs worked great, but the third had a weak base and had to be thrown away. I didn't examine the rest because I didn't want to unwrap the tightly packed foam bulbs. Wish me luck.

What struck me most about these bulbs was the amazing and safe way they were delivered. It's simple but awesome. Practically guarantees that the bulbs will not be damaged or broken during transport! All lightbulbs worked. Can't comment on durability as they were recently installed and still working, but it hasn't been that long. It was a great thing! Bought these as replacement bulbs for my patio lights. Matches the originals that are still running.

As other reviewers have pointed out, this is the perfect replacement for Costco Street bulbs. However, note that these are made of glass, unlike the original unbreakable lamps that came with cords. Not a big deal, but just surprised me. Otherwise the color of the light is the same as the rest. Can't tell which is the original and which is the replacement - which is good because I'm sure others are starting to burn out and now I'm glad I have many have backups!

A number of bulbs I bought a few years ago started to deteriorate so I bought these to replace . The light is very warm and inviting. These bulbs are 11W and therefore not as bright as the original 14W bulbs. However, I think they will last longer. If you want them to set the mood by lighting up your patio parties like I do, you'll love them. If you need something brighter ("work light"), you can try higher wattage bulbs. By the way, the packaging was excellent. There were no pears in the pack.
