My PS4 overheated and didn't work. After reading the fan's fault description, I ordered this part. It's an extensive but not overly complicated process if you're accommodating enough. Take your time and make sure you're watching the RIGHT YouTube video (depending on your specific PS4 model). After the installation is complete: Success! My PS4 is working great again.

My Ps4 got very hot and sounded like a jet engine. I decided to try this fan and to be honest I was very impressed with it. The fan fit into my system without any problems. My Ps4 is now quieter than ever and sounds like a brand new system! I would definitely recommend this fan to anyone looking to do DIY repairs.

The third time I opened up my PS4 to clean it, but this time I'm using Thermaltake TG-7 instead of white paste. The thermal zinc was pure compared to what I see in the YouTube video. This time I noticed that I didn't hear the occasional jet noise. I checked twice that there is airflow in the back that has it. I'm not promoting Thermaltake, just sharing my experience.

Got this fan and replaced my dead Ps4 fan with ease, it has tools to open the device so use the videos online to learn how to open the device as it can be difficult. because you have to remove everything to get to it. The fan fits perfectly and matches exactly my factory fan for my unit which is a CUH-1215a so it went in and connected properly as the connector was exactly the same and no different. Make sure the fan connector in the picture matches yours as there are 2 different types.
