I bought this primarily for travel so I don't have to carry the original two piece cable that comes with the Surface Pro. This broke immediately at the magnetic end. Too bad there is no photo, I threw it away. I wanted to return but the seller never contacted me to authorize the return. ENTIRE WASTE OF MONEY. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I was initially skeptical about ordering this. I usually buy original chargers, but this is what I need! I can't say it's not original!

This is a good replacement when you either lost your original one or it stopped working. While some people like to have most of the plug in the part that plugs into the wall, I prefer the original because sometimes there isn't room on the wall for that very large part.

Needed a portable charger for my MS SP3 as it included a dock connector so it was a bit bulky for travelling. Will use this provider again for other electronic needs.

The product got VERY hot, slightly melting the plastic on the extension cord and making a buzzing electrical noise. He charged the surface of my windows so he did what he had to do. Update: Someone from the company contacted me and sent me a new power supply. The new brick works like a charm, and while it heats up moderately, I don't find it dangerous or harmful. I appreciate the customer service I received after the initial review and I am happy with the product delivered.

Great product! Looks just like my original charger that I lost while traveling. I bought one off ebay for $9 which kicks on and shuts off the second day.
