Yahrzeit bulb replacement Memorial damaged. The star is not fully lit as you can see in the picture. It was embarrassing to receive it in such condition.

I ordered a lightbulb that was defective, so I ordered a replacement bulb and it didn't work. Not good. I have returned the item and am waiting for a refund.

I had no idea how to find a replacement for our Yahrzeit lamp. There is no Jewish shop in our area. This works perfectly and it's good to know that lightbulbs are available from Revain.

This is designed as a Jewish Yahtzeit candle that burns for 24 hours to commemorate deceased family members and some Jewish holidays. Normally, an orange glowing star looks like an electric candle, but more so because of the glow of plasma light. This particular light appears to have been edited and possibly returned by someone else, with dirt on the glass. The two parallel stars are misaligned and the lower part is not illuminated (see image).

Unexpectedly great! I inherited the Yahrzeit lamp from my mother many years ago. The bulb broke and I looked for a replacement and found one at Revain. I ordered it because I thought the price was low enough that I wouldn't have lost much if it didn't fit (because it was so old). Low and here it comes! I'm so happy I wanted to keep a memorial lamp in memory of my mom! I definitely recommend this company.

I've been using these bulbs since I found out about yarzeit. My mom has been using them since she started. So you never have to worry about a burning open flame. It also makes it easier to see the season for those who live in places where finding a candle in a jar can take some effort. Or where snow or other inclement weather may make disembarking difficult. There are purists who bother me about using them. But it is important to remember loved ones and not to argue about electricity. At least…
