I don't know what I was thinking. After use, it needs to be washed, which is not recommended in the sink because all the hair supports the plumbing. So I've tried doing it over the toilet, pouring water over it, or in the backyard with a hose. Washing is also difficult because pouring water doesn't remove all the hair, I have to massage it a little before most of the hair comes off! In general, this is a good idea, but it is extremely impractical!

The sticky part is just as good as the more expensive version. Yes, the handle and lid are thinner plastic, but they do the job. I use them very often, so I know I still have to replace them from time to time. Tip: I know they say water washes away lint. you need soap I put a bottle of diluted dish soap next to the sink, squirt a little on the roller, wipe it off with my hand, and rinse it out. Very useful in the first month of use. BF wears all black so we used it every morning and even on the sheets after the dogs have let their hair down. It worked, it really worked BUT I hated cleaning it and it stopped being sticky after sooo many rinses. Don't get me started on the little ones, I've hardly used them and if we MUST because the big roller was no longer sticky it was a constant gurgle from this nifty thing filling up all at once.
