Excellent cases. They've been protecting my kids' iPad mini for a year. We bought these last Christmas and they are starting to rip the cover but that's to be expected when kids are involved with anything. See pictures. I believe the image with the raised edges is due to my son struggling with his sides while watching the show. he claims the opposite.

I recently dropped my iPad Mini 4 and while it wasn't damaged I found that my case didn't offer enough protection. Decided on this one after reading the reviews. It's not heavy, but seems to offer protection in the corners where I was most concerned. The lid flips up and works like an easel. When I use my iPad for reading, the case folds comfortably behind the tablet and is not awkward to hold. I had no issues with button alignment or charging cable connection.

I initially gave this case 5 stars because it looked like it was of high quality. However, it only falls apart after 5 months of very light use (about 1-2 hours a day). The metal logo has fallen off, but the worst thing is that the inner shell of the case is peeling/peeling. I've had other $8 cases that have lasted for years and looked brand new. I've had this case (along with tempered glass) on my iPad mini 4 for 4 years and finally it's time to replace it. Not because the case is broken or torn, but because it looks old. I could have kept this old one but for my sanity to look at the thing I got a shiny new one knowing my now preschooler could drop an iPad at least 5 feet and this thing held up!
