Causes breakouts Suitable for creams and moisturizers

Retinol was recommended for sebaceous cysts and I thought it might also be useful for wrinkles and dry elbows. I managed to find it on sale at a good price so I ordered it from Revain. It makes my skin soft and silky instead of greasy. A little goes a long way, so it must take a while. It smells, but I don't find it unpleasant or harsh. Mine had no internal seal, it is Puritan Pride branded and shipped in a box with their logo on it. Update = after a few weeks of sporadic use my face doesn't…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

you only have one face

I wanted to use this to keep the youth I have left. I was thrilled to find a retinol cream for so little. I swore to myself then and there that all my face products would come from vitamin stores. It arrived! Hooray! I probably missed it on the list, but one of the main ingredients is propylene glycol and the other main ingredient is mineral oil. So this is not acceptable. Guilty. Won't make that mistake again.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

DO NOT BUY THIS FRIEND

The last time I had acne was 11 years ago. I only chose this cream because I heard so many good reviews about retinol and vitamin A creams and thought I could make my perfect, almost pore-free skin even better. A month after using this cream, I developed acne in places where there was no acne even in my youth. One formed on my nose, on my forehead, on both eyebrows, on my eyelids, next to my lips like cold sores, under my lips, on my cheeks, around my hairline, around my nostrils. on my chin…

It doesn't get any better.

I've been wanting to add retinol to my skincare routine and have been using it since 2013. It definitely softens the skin and is perfect for protecting the face from drying out. I use it as a night cream and also apply it gently under my eyes as an eye cream. I've been asked over and over by women how my face "shines" or how the oldest I look like is 21 or 22 and I'm 28. This product makes your skin supple and while the exact effectiveness of retinol really depends on science and not public…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

I'm glad I decided to try it!

After reading other customer reviews I had some doubts about this product. They really lean one way or the other. I finally decided that for the price I could try throwing the product away if it didn't suit me. The mention of mineral oil bothered me the most. I have very sensitive acne prone skin, even in my 40's. Mineral oil based products have always been a categorical ban for me as they clog pores. I've been using this product for about a month and I'm very happy with the results. My skin…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
