It was hard to find a 4 foot retractable cord that is just what I needed. It worked fine for the first or third day, and then it stopped feeding. If you pull it out a little and let go, it doesn't go all the way back, just to the same stop. Pull it a little more and it will move to the next stop. The only way to retract it at this point is to pull it out all the way and then pull and release. phew. Still usable, but a real problem.

I like the article very much. I can connect my iPhone or iPod to my car's aux input so I can listen to music without a long tangled cord. I like that it folds into a compact little unit. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is if you want to pull out say 6 inches of cable and then pull it in, you have to pull the cable all the way out for it to retract. Other Retrak cables I have, like the USB charger, you can extend to the length you want. When you're done, simply unplug the device and pull
