Love these. I'm smug about not using plastic straws lol. I thought they might absorb too much fragrance, but as long as they're cleaned and air dried I haven't had that problem. My teeth and gums love not having coffee doused multiple times a day. Giving them away to my crunchy friends for Christmas this year!

I tried these bamboo straws. I wanted a quieter alternative to the stainless steel straws that sound loud in a ceramic mug. After 3 months, my commonly used bamboo straws are getting darker and bursting. I will say that I drink a lot of hot tea with them. Generally not inexpensive, but they are environmentally friendly. I liked the look and the different sizes.

I live on the Florida Gulf Coast and have seen firsthand how straws and other plastic pollution are affecting the ocean and life in it. These straws don't taste weird like other alternatives like silicone. They can be used multiple times, but be sure to dry them thoroughly to prevent mold from growing on them. They come packaged in a lovely holdall - just wish there was a separate compartment in the bag for used straws as we take them to the restaurant. Highly recommended!

I have tried both stainless steel and silicone reusable straws and found that after about 3 uses it didn't require much soaking or cleaning to keep them from smelling bad. Stainless steel tastes too strong, and forget the citrus! But so happy with this bamboo version! a little smell/taste but it's natural and not repulsive. The large straws are a bit wide in diameter, but since they literally rely on bamboo straws I can't complain. LOVE little straws for my toddler. Highly recommended

I have bought this pack of straws twice and we love them! We use them for cocktails, iced coffee, all drinks. I haven't used them in hot drinks but I'm sure they will work well with that too. You definitely want to hand wash them and wash them shortly after use, or at least give them a good rinse with hot water right after use.
