So you want to reuse ziplock bags to save the planet but also not look like you're so poor you wash disposable bags. It's your choice, even if you're really poor. They are thick and close well, better than anything but those Gucci slip-on locks in my opinion. Cleaning and drying takes effort, but it's easier than living on a dead planet without life. They were also at a fair price.

I haven't used store bought zip bags in years. It took me a while to get a good collection of different sizes, but these were by far the best value gallon bags I've seen. I never put them in the dishwasher, and when I wash by hand I invert a tall jar and set them on top to dry. If you don't keep them open they will dry forever. Also, never put very hot food inside. I made that mistake. Always let it cool down first. Great product and would definitely recommend. They work great in the freezer.

Some pockets were torn at the seams after only two uses. They say they are freezer ready but it looks like the freezer may be the problem. The bags were hand washed and left to dry, but two bags came loose from the top zippered area of the bag after a single use, and one also came loose along the side seam of the bag.
