I had high hopes but in reality these towels disappointed me. I've used two and then washed them cold and it was worse than washing a tissue in my bag. Not only are the paper towels torn, I had to rewash the entire load and still use the lint brush to remove the residue.

The description clearly states that the kink was fixed with washable materials. I put them in a mesh bag for delicates and washed them on the gentle cycle and they still practically fell apart. I paid for REUSABLE "paperless" towels but only used them once. Super screwed up.

I love these paper towels! The first night I received them, I purposely spilled water on the counter to test their absorbency. GOOD GRACIOUS! The water was sucked up so quickly that the towel didn't get wet. I was able to ring it out to dry and use it a few more times. I told everyone about it! They are very soft and incredibly durable. I stumbled across these while looking for more sustainable pieces for my home and will definitely be buying more. Heck, I'm considering giving them away!

Just trying to find the best way to iron fruit and veg before dehydrating. I usually use lots of paper towels, cut up fruit/veg to dehydrate and go through it like crazy. Now I've given this (didn't get the whole roll) 2 cycles to dry sliced melons (11 melons). I was able to use them twice before throwing them in my mop bucket, they absorb a lot. I bought a slightly more expensive brand and chose these because they were about $2 cheaper. Well you get what you pay for. I washed the other brand about 6-8 times before sending them to the towel box in my husband's garage. and they were still in great condition, just a little shrunk but more stained than they meant to use in the kitchen, but still in good, usable condition. somehow stuck to the pad and the pieces of towel washed away exposing the pad. Well these towels really impressed me. I used to use at least 10-15 paper towels a day. Now I use the same reusable 2-3 days! I just use it and rinse with warm, sometimes soapy water, wring it out and hang it on the oven door handle to dry. It literally dries up in about an hour and you're walking again!
