This is a very intense moisturizing cream. It does work very well, but in terms of "aesthetic pleasure” it didn’t quite blow me away the way some other philosophy products recently did. The cream does it’s job - it’s quite an effective night moisturizer. I couldn’t detect much of a scent. There was no irritation. One annoyance - I found the cap difficult to open - as in , I broke a nail opening it! Not sure if mine is defective or if that’s a design flaw.

The texture of this night cream was kind of strange. Its not a cream but not a gel. Its hydrating but I don't feel like it adds moisture after first applying. I feel like it doesnt last all night long and my skin is already dry and ready for my hydration. And my skin isnt even naturally dry, its more oily, but this is just okay for my skin. I didn't see any improvements with my skin, no brightness or filling in lines. Just high priced lotion with SPF.

It is of a medium heaviness without being greasy or oily, and causes zero redness or irritation on my sensitive skin. This face cream is a great deep hydration perfect to use any time of day. Night time is great if you can't handle thicker creams on your face, but I use it in the morning some times. In winter my face gets so dry and I need a thicker cream like this to combat the dryness. This cream is great, just a few dollops massaged into your skin will keep you well hydrated all day.
