So far so good - my new review

Hopefully this will be more stable than the serum. Need water or other serum to mix with it. Just started to use it though so don’t have much else to report. Have used Vitamin C serums for years and they really do make a difference.

Pros
  • Promotes a healthy, radiant glow
Cons
  • May not work well with other active skincare ingredients

Not sure about it. in my review

I've been using this for over a month and I haven't noticed anything different about my skin. At first, it seemed to leave a softening layer or film on my skin, which was kinda nice, now I don't notice it anymore. I haven't noticed reduction in brown spots, which is what I had been hoping for, but I guess I will wait until I've finished the bottle before I decide whether it was a waste or not. I can't decide if it's just another unnecessary product that I've been duped into buying.

Pros
  • Can reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation
Cons
  • May not work well with certain facial masks

Vitamin c all the way

Great product, u can feel it working. Seems to be as effective as higher priced serums. My aesthetician doesn't seem to know I stopped using her product for this. It can be hard to manage usage. Spoon often breaks, hard to get out of spoon.fling it out but then splatters or spoon breaks. I continue to use every day.

Pros
  • Protects against damaging UV rays and free radicals
Cons
  • May cause skin to appear too red or pink

Eh.not sure how I feel about this one

Next time I will buy just absorbic acid from the net instead of Philosophy's overpriced Turbo Booster C Powder. You've been warned now. However, it did arrive quickly and was as described. I just consider this a bad buy on my part for not doing enough homework first on what I was buying.

Pros
  • Can help to improve overall skin tone and texture
Cons
  • May require special storage conditions for maximum effectiveness

Works great, freshens skintone

I definitely feel this has improved my skin tone and lightened some dark spots! I mix a scoopful (comes with tiny scooper) with facial moisturizer and rub into my face. It immediately tightens so I know my skin is reacting to the ingredients. It's a good feeling! Will re-buy.

Pros
  • Pure and mixed well with moisturizing products.
Cons
  • May cause breakouts

Entering your thirties? Buy this stuff and thank me later.

Like many women my age, I used tanning beds with an abandon in my teens and even 20s. All of that UV damage has now surfaced to my skin and this year I had horrible sun spots all over my cheekbones. No matter how much makeup I applied I couldn't get them to fade. This powder has made such an improvement in only a few weeks!Following the advice of some other reviewers, I started with half a scoop of powder in the palm of my hand, then added 5 drops of a hyaluronic acid serum, mixed them together

Pros
  • Supports the skin's natural healing and repair process
Cons
  • May cause skin to appear dull or lifeless

too strong for my sensitive skin

I have loved every Philosophy product I've ever tried; they are basically the only ones that work without irritating my sensitive, dry, acne-prone skin. I use When Hope is Not Enough serum, Hope in a Jar moisturizer and Help Me topical retinol treatment every day, and the regimen has done amazing things for my skin. Based on the rave reviews for this product, I purchased with high hopes and used a couple of times mixed with Hope in a Jar. Unfortunately, it stung on application and caused some…

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • May require additional moisturizing products

Great solution for pricy vitamin C creams

I've been using this for several months. What I like about this product is that you can mix it with any moisturizer (even the inexpensive) and it still gives you great results. It reduces blotches and dark spots and smooths the texture of your skin. You can also control the amount you want in your mixture which is great for sensitive skin.

Pros
  • I just got it 3 days ago, and i like them
Cons
  • May not deliver promised results

Finally a high potency vitamin C product!

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing because of the price and the weight of the product. But I use vitamin C in my chemical lab for transport of amino acids and know just how potent of an antioxidant it is based of it's transport mechanism. I have had the unfortunate event of running into a lot of really crappy serums and moisturizers that have a lot of fragrance and oxidize before you're even halfway done with the product or have broken me out the next morning! I have been combining half…

Pros
  • Love it
Cons
  • May cause skin irritation

Dont second guess this product! it works!

I bought this about a week ago used one day a week ago then went a few days without it, applied last night and I can see my freckles fading ALOT! This really works, if freckles are an issue or have been an issue, like they have for me my whole life, I thought $30 is money well spent to change something you're self conscious about. Thanks so much!

Pros
  • Can help to prevent the signs of premature aging
Cons
  • May require additional exfoliation for best results

Love this product for my opinion

This is a great product. I would mix it in with my moisturizer on non makeup days, and on makeup days I added to my liquid foundation. Does brighten.

Pros
  • Provides long-lasting benefits for healthy, glowing skin
Cons
  • May cause skin to appear unnaturally bright or fake

A decent Vitamin C powder

I use this at least 5 times per week. I am seeing subtle results. Didn't expect a miracle. I will continue to use this as my staple C powder.

Pros
  • Provides antioxidant protection to the skin
Cons
  • May oxidize quickly and lose effectiveness

My go to anti-aging product

This powder allows for vitamin c to be mixed into your choice of moisturizer daily. Because of this the vitamin c stays more stable and effective and keeping skin fresh and youthful.

Pros
  • Creams & Moisturizers
Cons
  • May have a strong scent

older skin: my feedback

I noticed some wrinkles in my cheeks. Since I started to use this product I feel that my skin has become a little firmer and the wrinkles perhaps not as deep. I just started using this product last month. So far I'm pleased with it.

Pros
  • Skin Care
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

Best Product for Acne Scars!

This is the best product I've found so far to clear up discoloration and acne scars! Start off using just a little bit in the morning with lotion and work your way up to a full scoop - it will do your skin wonders!

Pros
  • Creates a protective barrier on the skin to prevent damage
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use on all areas of the face

I use this stuff on and off throughout the year .

I use this stuff on and off throughout the year. I mix it with Hope in a Jar but have used it with other moisturizers too. It does brighten darker spots and it tightens skin a bit. I tap bottle against counter to shake up powder then just jiggle a bit out rather than using the little scoop. Do wash your hand soon after--I find the area I mix it in my palm can stain brownish (but doesn't do that on face?!)

Pros
  • Love this product! I add it to my moisturizer and have already noticed a difference in just a few days.
Cons
  • Requires additional mixing steps for application

Keeps my face from aging!

Great product, seems to have stopped the wrinkles from getting bigger on my forehead. It also brightens my skin, giving me a more youthful glow. I mix it with the Philosophy oil free SPF moisturizer in the morning. It's been part of my daily routine for the last year. I've tried a couple of serums and have had issues with my face getting too shiny from them, with the turbo booster c powder I don't experience this.

Pros
  • Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin
Cons
  • Not recommended for use on scars or burns

Smells good but. - my new review

I've been using this for the last couple weeks and I can honestly say I don't see any changes. I stuff smells good and I didn't have any problems with mixing it in my moisturizer. Some other reviews claims it stains your hand and clumps but I didn't have that issue. It did sting a little after every use. Again, not sure I saw any changes.

Pros
  • 604079032704
Cons
  • May not absorb into skin properly

Love the Turbo Booster C Powder

This turbo booster c powder was great! It could be a little intense, leaving your skin a little red for those with sensitive skin, but I felt like it was actually doing something. I had some blemishes and this helped clear those up right away. My skin just seemed more fresh. I was happy and would recommend this again!

Pros
  • The bottle last forever.
Cons
  • Not a substitute for a healthy diet and lifestyle

Will make your face a bit pain.

I don’t like it. First time I use I though it’s because of maybe have some acid to make face a bit pain but after that I got red face, ichy and some burn. 4 days later my skin peel off bad. But I didn’t return product. Watch out this product.

Pros
  • Boosts naturally occurring collagen in the skin
Cons
  • May cause skin to appear shiny or greasy
