Changed formula, questionable ingredients

Here is a copy of the email I sent to Reviva Labs: Hello. Regarding your 10% glycolic acid cream: I have been using this product for many years and am disappointed with your change in formula. I liked the old product. I ordered again in August and noticed that you added chemicals (like retinal palmitate), a dangerous, carcinogenic ingredient found in many sunscreens and other questionable ingredients. 2 or 3 times a week. Because of this glass, my face was covered with bulging red bumps. Is…

This is NOT the original life changing formula it once was.

I've been using this for years when it was still available in Ulta stores. It has transformed my oily, acne prone, uneven skin. I have recommended it to everyone and have sworn it is a product of a lifetime. I was devastated when it was removed from Ulta, but years later I stumbled upon Revain. I was so incredibly disappointed to hear that they redesigned the formula. This product is nowhere near as good as it used to be. Not even close. Instead of clearing my acne, smoothing out uneven…

Excellent material! suitable for face

So basically I bought this for my blackheads on my chin, I have a comedone extractor but I would overdo it a bit and cause some redness/damage and I have didn't really solve the problem. problem, so I started looking into glycolic acid and salicylic acid. The first salicylic acid didn't help and my first experience with glycolic acid was Mario Badescu 3% Glycolic Acid which didn't help much either. I have no exfoliation experience so I wanted something in between a mild glycolic acid and…

Not equally good for the face

Have been using this glycolic acid cream for several years and this is the last time I bought it. I liked it as a serum product that I applied before my regular moisturizer. Unfortunately, the formula gradually turned into something unrecognizable. They've changed it twice since it was the BEST original product in the yellow box when it was just glycolic acid. Now it's full of other ingredients, and this last jar I got is even different. They changed it again and this latest version is a…

No rashes in months!

I wish I had found this product over 10 years ago! I'm well into 40 and still having breakouts like a teenager which is ridiculous! I bought a glycolic acid cleanser and decided to use this cream at night. I would say I tolerated more than a normal spree for the first 1-2 weeks but after that. NOTHING! I use this every night and it takes a little getting used to due to the strength. It is best to apply immediately after cleansing and before the skin begins to noticeably dry out. I get redness…
