Revlon products are the best

This product has been my mother's staple for over 50 years and I have borrowed it often. I have always bought other brands and have been disappointed with the performance of the tool. and how others have felt in your hand. Didn't buy Revlon because I can never find this product on the market! Now I'm so happy - a great product that is a multifunctional tool for manicure and plucking eyebrows.

Pros
  • High quality stainless steel for superior precision and durability
Cons
  • Weight

What is pictured/described does not match what I ordered.

I received the narrow version of the cutting blades I ordered. There is no plastic plug to prevent the metal from rubbing together and increasing friction. I had no luck with the wire cutters I had before and eventually they stopped pinching. I don't like them but I've already opened them so I won't be sending them back.

Pros
  • Spring mechanism for a clean cut every time, no pulling or pulling

Very bad quality - do not buy!

I bought three of these cutters in 2018 and they all had problems. First off, jaw alignment and sharpness were very poor. On one I had to file the jaws myself to get them to cut at all. The other two were a bit sharper, but the alignment of the jaws prevented them from cutting accurately. The problem I had with all three was that the spring holding the jaws open cracked and broke after a few months of use. I see they are made in Pakistan - maybe Revlon doesn't care where or how well their…

Pros
  • Non-slip grip for precision and control in either hand
Cons
  • Small parts

Bad imitation of the original.

I had several Revlon pliers in the 70's and used them as a manicure for years. This newer model = a hot mess. They don't open and close smoothly like older models and tend to get stuck midway in either direction. It's frustrating when you're trying to pinch a tiny bit of cuticle or dangle a nail and have to reposition yourself and start over. The blades of the pliers are not aligned well and are not as sharp as they should be. Very disappointed with this low quality product.

Pros
  • Full jaw covering a large area of cuticles
Cons
  • Doubtful
