Revlon Perfect Straight Brilliance Ceramic Hair Care Review

I already have a 1" straightener which I LOVE so I ordered the 1.5" to straighten my hair faster. Well this 1.5- Inch iron is quite heavy and not as smooth as the 1" iron. I've only used it once and will try a few more times, but I'm debating whether to keep it or return it. The product did a great job straightening my hair. Easy to use. Heats up quickly. Unfortunately I've only had it for about 8 months and now it heats up and then immediately goes off again. Strongly disappointed.

I use a flat iron to curl my hair so I was looking for something wider to get looser curls. However, that's exactly what I was looking for. My curls fall a bit flat. I think it's because of the matte texture on the outside of the straightener. It doesn't get as hot on the outside as some others I've tried. I like the iron but it heats up very quickly and it took me a while to decide what temperature to use. Be careful when small children are around.

This is definitely a straightener; straightens hair without frizzing it. Maybe I need a setting spray or a specific product, but the curls just don't hold.

These rectifiers are great! I always used the same very expensive brand religiously until my irons broke and I had to buy a new set until I fixed my old one. To my surprise, for a small price, the Revlon straighteners do the job and my hair looks great. Highly recommended!
