doesn't even work as a replacement

I'm in the process of replacing my remote and adapter that I originally received with the lights I ordered, but no matter what I plug the USB into the lights they just flash briefly red and weak. What does that mean? And how can I fix it? Because I can't seem to get it back.

The best deception about lighting and ceiling fans

Be very careful. The picture shows a 5V to 24V powered receiver for all models, I think it can probably work between those ranges, thought it was a good buy just to get it and it only says 5V. Waaaaay under those most 12v led strips so now it's just a waste of my money.

Nice little addition RGB

Had to buy as a separate RGB light bar didn't come with the remote/USB app (other than the dot). For the money it was worth it. The remote control must be pointed directly at the receiver and within 10 feet, but it must respond quickly and accurately. Also, the 3M glue started to gradually peel off, but that could also be due to the porous nature of the wood I glued it to. All in all I would buy again.

Everything came broken in the box

The LED strip lights up with no problems and the "mother" connector. The infrared controller is a socket. No plug to plug is included. The cables to the controller are flat, like they've been completely run over by a forklift. Not only that. The remote control broke into pieces. I thought about salvaging the part and re-soldering. But due to the breakage of the remote control, it is not worth keeping this product. Come back!

TV USB port shorted

Bought a similar controller as a replacement after the contacts broke. I used an LED strip as an ambient light strip for my TV. Unfortunately, this model keeps giving over-current warnings on my TV's USB port, causing all USB ports to shut down immediately. I can't get it to work in Smooth or Fade mode because it's trying to boost the brightness too much. Even trying to change the brightness doesn't work as it only seems to control the speed of the transition. I'm stuck in flash mode. So. uh…

Worked as a replacement for existing LED strips but beware of false advertising!

I lost the bracket that connects the wireless box to the LED strips. I saw a review that mentioned they won't work like that. But they worked for me! I have LED strips under my power chair. I rarely go out, but once at a concert I was literally overwhelmed by a sea of drunks. LEDs illuminate the underside of my chair so people can see the obstruction. I lost the plug while riding on the lawn in my backyard and didn't want to buy and install new tracks. I dared this topic. As one reviewer noted,

VERY DISAPPOINTED! best in led strip

All colored buttons show wrong colors. When I first checked the light I thought I was pressing the wrong buttons because I was focusing on the light and not the remote. I used a remote like this in another project so I know where the buttons are, so I used it from memory. But after putting it into the project, I waited for this remote and had a chance to sit down, activate it and watch the remote turn itself off.
