Review on RGBZONE 1m USB DC 5V Inline IR Controller + Wireless 24 Key Controller for 5050 3528 RGB LED Light Strip by Gin Bajema

Bought a similar controller as a replacement after the contacts broke. I used an LED strip as an ambient light strip for my TV. Unfortunately, this model keeps giving over-current warnings on my TV's USB port, causing all USB ports to shut down immediately. I can't get it to work in Smooth or Fade mode because it's trying to boost the brightness too much. Even trying to change the brightness doesn't work as it only seems to control the speed of the transition. I'm stuck in flash mode. So. uh. Kind of annoying.
