🚪 Richell TouchPet Gate II Review

This is the sixth Richell One Touch door that we have purchased. They are high quality, blend in perfectly with home decor and last a long time! My eldest is over 10 years old and still working like day one. While they won't keep a dog that doesn't want to be owned, they will do just fine with a well behaved 30-50 pound dog like us.

The only gate that opens for us humans to hold ALL Chihuahuas (even two-pound Chihuahuas). In addition, they are stylish. I'm including a few extra wall protectors that you don't really need. Yes, more expensive than the ones you step over. It's worth it for the Chihuahua's fall prevention, style, ease of use, and demeanor.

Love this goal! This is when I ordered my 4th. This ended up being lower than my previous 3 purchases but that's ok as it is used in a different part of the house where they are not compared. I think they look great, work great and are built to last! I would never use any other type of pet gate again! Highly recommended!

I love this gate! We have a new puppy and that goal changed the world. Easy to install, very durable and easy to use. It's attractive and the quality is excellent. We like that the door can be opened in both directions. We will buy more goals. We still have the Richell Gate when our other dogs were very small, in front of a large window protected by wooden shutters, and they still look brand new. Richell Gates is the best!

This was a really good goal which we bought for my mum who has severe coordination problems due to Alzheimer's. Unfortunately, when I looked at the locking mechanism, I found that she couldn't use it. Working with the company was very easy and returns were accepted without any problems. I warn you though, shipping back was very expensive - about half the cost of the gate! This is in no way the company's fault, just thought I'd let others know before they buy.

This is absolutely the best pet gate on the market - without a doubt! Just ordered my 5th and 6th gates to use in other parts of my house. They are attached to the top and bottom of the gate so dogs cannot open them like other gate manufacturers do. I wouldn't consider any other brand of gate as it couldn't be improved. A tip is to agree that the security stickers on the gate should stay in place. Attempting to remove them will damage the beautiful wood. But if you're looking for the best pet…

I am so disappointed with these two goals. They are very pretty but I can't get them to fit tightly in the doorway. They fall at the slightest touch. They were also quite difficult to assemble - the instructions were terrible. Maybe I didn't put them together correctly. I think they are probably too heavy to return and I threw away the box a long time ago. The two doors together cost over $300. One had a crack in the gate which I thought I could live with. But I can't live with those heavy…
