I can't use this set. The nut tightening and loosening tool does not fit properly and does not grip the nut enough to turn it.

Well they look good and they offer extra protection. I used some red Loctite. To take them off you need a micro torch to heat them up a bit. Give them one star for the price but nothing hard sells cheap but you get what you pay for with hard quality.

The design is nice, but Rigid really should make a version with a nylon lock. If you don't use screw lock, the screws will loosen easily. Even with some screw lock someone could loosen it with pliers.

Works as intended, happy with the purchase. The only issue is that stainless steel lock washers were included in the kit as these lock nuts replace the nylock nuts that come with the E Series lightbars. I called Rigid Industries customer service to confirm the need for lock washers to maintain the light bar and prevent nuts from loosening due to road vibration etc. This is Rigid's oversight in my opinion.

Simple but effective. It appears that wrenches or pliers without the included wrench are unable to remove the nuts from the lightbar mounting studs. What worries me is that this is a normal system key. It seems like everyone who buys the same security kit has the same wrench to loosen someone else's lock nut. But they are definitely better than a regular nut that any correct size wrench can remove.

This screw kit is an absolute must if you have an expensive light bar like the Rigid. They offer 2 versions of the security screw kit and I bought both. I didn't want my lightbar to be stolen because I made it cheaper and didn't protect my investment. These screws could probably be broken with needle nose pliers. You just want to stop any criminal from stealing your cool light bar and 2 different sets of security screws should do the trick. In all honesty they should include both sets when you…
